Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) & Policies

The Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps was established by federal law and works in partnership with the school to fund, organize, and operate JROTC battalions like the Winston Churchill High School Charger Battalion.  Because of the shared responsibilities and close relationship between the United States Army Cadet Command and the school district many policies overlap.  Where inconsistencies exist, Cadets, instructors, and school officials should adhere to the strictest interpretations of the policies outlined in the following documents.

JROTC Standard Operating Procedures

Student Dress Code and JROTC Uniforms

There are multiple policies and regulations governing student dress codes an the wear and appearance of JROTC uniforms.  As a member of the Corps of Cadets you are expected to adhere to the school districts dress code policy when on campus or participating in school-related activities and functions.  When in uniform, cadets are expected to maintain the highest standard of proffessional appearance.
